In this episode Jason is accused of another murder, this time the waitress whom he had been seeing. When he is arrested he decides to drink the entire vile of vampire blood he got from Lafayette in the previous episode. Jason then becomes ill in the police station and runs to the bathroom. While Jason is in the washroom Terra arrives threatening undue process because Jason has no lawyer present. She tells the police that she was with Jason last night so he couldn’t have killed the waitress. When the police decide not to charge Jason with anthing at the moment, he and Terra take off.  Sookie decides to use her psychic powers to find the person to try and catch whoever it was that was killing people, so she persuades Compton to take her to the local vampire bar called “Fangtasia”. Once there she meets a Norweigen (Viking!) Vampire named Eric. Throughout the episode Jason feels the effects of taking too much Vampire blood.
