Sookie is faced with dealing with the tragedy of her grandmothers murder. She seeks comfort in knowing that her friends will support her through her tough time. Jason is suffering from vampire blood withdrawls and is an all around complete mess. He decides to blame Sookie for their grandmothers death. Tara and Sam are intimate for the second time, and Sam indicates interest in having a relationship with her.  Tara confronts her alcoholic mother, Lettie Mae, who’s trying to rid herself of a “demon” and explains that she needs Tara’s help to overcome it.
